Sundarbans the world largest mangrove forest . It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.When you are bored with the noise of the city life, you can go there to relief your mind. - Karamjol : This place is more like a Zoo. First, you will see the maps of Sundarbans. You will see crocodile and deer. You can buy food for deer.
Perfect time to visit Sundarbans :
Winter is the best season to visit Sundarbans. More specifically it is November to February. You may feel suffocated in the deep forest in Hot season, which will not be felt in Winter.
How to go there?
From Dhaka to Sundarban:
Those who want to visit all the spots at once and spend the night in the deep forest River can pick up their package ( from Dhaka to Sundarban )by contacting a good travel agency. In this case the package cost starts from 10000 tk per person. Or, You can go to Khulna and take the ship package cost starts from 6500 tk . Everything is included in the package , the food will also be in buffet system. You can try MV Flamingo , MV Rainbow, MV Obosor in the ship.
Those who want to give tour at low cost , you can take reserve trawler from Khulna . You can visit only 2 to 3 place by trawler and you won't be able to spend the night in the forest .
From Khulna to Sundarban :
Operators usually have packages from Khulna Launch ghat every Friday to Sunday ,or Monday to Thursday. If it is a group of 10 to 20 people, you can reserve a launch by own . Hence, your privacy will be safe and services will be better as the number of passengers are less. From Mongla it takes 3 hour less to reach Sundarban.

Depending on the quality of the food and ship , the average cost of a medium sized cost is usually 6000 - 7000 tk. If you want a little bit more luxurious , there is package upto 20000 tk per person. Choose your preferable one. If you have a large group of peoples including 35 to 40 people, you can travel Sundarban for 3 days for 4000 to 5000 tk by floorinthe launch . It is difficult to get a vessel without booking a month in advance.
